Making of a Programming Language

In this two-day session the audience will be guided about how a new high level programming language is designed, and how a compiler translates that code to an assembly language and then how an assembler translate it to executable machine code.

A tech meetup was organized to inspire and encourage the CCET ACM Student Chapter for the year 2021-22 on April 11, 2021. It was a great opportunity for all to have a one on one interaction with Faculty Mentors, as well as Upcoming Industry Leaders from the CCET ACM Student Chapter 2019-20.

Virtual Meeting

A meeting was held on April 6, 2021 with student chapter members and faculty members as well. The discussion was regarding the newly elected CCET ACM Student Chapter and how the ACM Student Chapter will proceed.

Recruitments- 2021

Recruitments for ACM Student Chapter were held virtually from March 27 to April 3, 2021. A total of 94 students from every branch participated. Candidates were selected based upon their technical and soft skills and their willingness to learn.

Hacktoberfest- 2020

Students were introduced to about the Open-Source community and how it has made a huge impact in the present technical scenario, along with the practical utility of platform, Github.

Deep Learning from Scratch

In this session you will be learning the algorithms of deep learning right from scratch. Beginning with the algorithm of linear regression to that of complex neural networks.

Building Skills with Amazon Alexa

In this session the attendees learned about Voice User Interfaces.They created their first voice powered app with Amazon Alexa- an intelligent personal assistant by Amazon. By the end of the hands-on workshop, participants were able to: Build such an Alexa Skill that takes care of speech recognition and context so they can focus on making a great app in the near future.

Web App. Attacks

Attackers have an over-growing list of vulnerabilities to exploit in order to maliciously gain access to particular web applications.New vulnerabilities are being discovered all the time by computer security researchers, by attackers and even by users.In this session you will be guided towards how the attacks have been performed in real world scenarios.

Building Portfolios

A two hour workshop to introduce portfolios and emphasize its importance. The event informed students about portfolios which not only allows us to show but also tell about skills, education, training and experiences and briefed how it provides insight into personality and work ethic. The event was open to all students and saw an active participation from all years.

Google Summer of Code

Students were introduced to various coding competitions including Google Summer of Code and mozilla winter of security. The motive was to create awareness among the students on open source culture and projects. Students were also introduced to Campustry.The speaker discussed the importance of Resume in job application

Web Crawler

Students were introduced to Web Crawling, about its functioning as how it fetches and stores links from a website and were then taught as to how to create a web crawlers

A two round event based on computer science. First round being a MCQ round and the second being buzzer round.

Students were introduced to UI/UX designing in a crash-course fashion, learning as much as possible, along with the practical utility of various tools in the software.
